Now Recruiting: Editors and Sub-Editors

June 4, 2012 No Comments

The Tribe is now recruiting editors for the 2012/13 session; the positions available and their responsibilities are outlined below. Whilst editorial experience is not necessary, suitable candidates will be conscientious, reliable and have passion for quality journalism. These opportunities are a fantastic chance to gain experience working as an integral part of a student-run magazine.

Editors are responsible for motivating writers, editing articles, holding writers’ meetings and upholding the quality of each section. Sub-editors support the editor, and provide assistance in all of the above areas as required. Editorial staff are also expected to contribute articles to the magazine from time to time.

The following positions are available:

Art & Photography Editor

Perspective Editor

Perspective Sub-Editor

Fashion Sub-Editor

Features Sub-Editor

Science Sub-Editor

Theatre Sub-Editor

The deadline for applications is midday Saturday 30th June 2012. Please email editor@thetribeonline.com with a short piece of about 300 words stating why you think you are the right person for the job.

If your are interested in writing rather than editing, feel free to email the above address to get started!

We look forward to recruiting some great new members to our Tribe!
