22.2.13

Though gone in breath

And still in death

Your fading smile for now lives on

Though wasting eyes and cold your thighs

In me you still survive and thrive

Though felled the tree,

Though gone the bough

Though ne’er you’ll see

Aileen enow

I love you still

And will until

I join you there

In dirt and air.
