Natasha Franks previews The Lumsden Club’s Winning Women Conference, held Monday 29 February at Parliament Hall.
As the most prominent all female club in St Andrews, The Lumsden Club emphasises supporting women around the world. With this aim in mind, they will be hosting the Winning Women Conference to give St Andrews the opportunity to interact with successful women from a variety of businesses and countries.
Priced at £10 per person, the ticket includes a wine reception and access to a debate between the panel of speakers. Guests will then be allowed to ask their own questions in an open-floor session designed to connect the speakers and the students.
Moderated by Lotta Malm-Hallqvist, President Global CGO at Cheil Worldwide, the panel includes Marisa Drew, Co-Head of Investment Banking EMEA & Global Co-Head of Global Markets Solutions Group at Credit Suisse; Suzi Woolfson, Head of Private Business Worldwide at PwC; Katie Murray, Director of Finance at RBS; and Chanelle McCoy, Director of Medical Business at Chanelle Medical.
These leading industry figures will be able to provide valuable insights into their respective businesses and into the potentially gendered politics of working as a woman. Although particularly personal for female students, the event is open to all who have interest in the represented industries.
Tickets may be purchased via Tilt.
