Wondering what it actually means to be part of an “independent arts and culture magazine”?
In the process of excavating any latent journalistic aspirations?
Look no further! The Tribe is holding its biannual recruitment gathering at Brewco tomorrow from 8pm; find us on the top floor.
The Tribe, as you likely know if you’ve made it as far as this part of the article, is an online independent magazine and company, with a heavy arts and culture focus. We are a writer-centric publication, and aim to provide our readers with quality, interesting content on a regular basis. In short, none of what we do is possible without continuous work from our writers and editors.
This event is an informal way to meet our editorial team, get on our mailing lists, and hear a little more about what we do. We’d love to see you if you’re interested in writing or editing for us, or even if you have questions for our team about our content, how we edit, or what writing for us might entail.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please stop by! This is a great way to see if how we work suits the way you work, and if our content aligns with your writing and editing style. We’re always looking for new writers, but rarely are there a block of editing opportunities available at this point in the year.
The open editing slots are for the following:
Fashion/Events (blogging or photography experience a helpful but not required plus)
Love, Sex, and Relationships
Writing opportunities are available for any and all sections.
8pm – onwards at Brewco, tomorrow night.
