‘Just as if you were standing but vertically challenged.’

Hide and seek has been overthrown by a game that involves lying down with your palms against your sides and toes pointed in the most obscure place you can think of.
The Lying Down Game, a game that has had much media attention this summer, has come to St Andrews.
.Whether they are lying across the pier, along the union bar, or near the eighteenth hole of the old course, the 53 players in the St Andrews Lying Down Game Facebook Group can be found at
www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=74144782279. These St Andrews players are just part of this odd teenage craze that  has more than 50,000 member across the globe.  Marketed as ‘Parkour for those who cant be arsed’ the Official Lying Down Game is Copyrighted by its two Somerset bred creators Gary Clarkson and Christian Langdon. The game itself has two aims, the more public the better and the more people involved the better. In early September a group of doctors were suspended for allegedly playing the lying down game in the A and E department of Great Western Hospital.
